July 4th is fast approaching, and as last year’s Independence Day didn’t quite go as planned, we’re all more than ready to celebrate. So where’s the best place to watch fireworks this Independence Day? Here’s our list.
If you’re sticking to the city, Boston’s fireworks are some of the most iconic in the country. While the city’s signature Boston Pops July Fourth Spectacular will this year take place at Tanglewood in the Berkshires, the fireworks will be launched from the Boston Common instead of the Charles River.
To kick the weekend off right, Riverside Park in Haverhill will hold their fireworks show today at sundown, but without food vendors, live music or entertainment. Legion Field in Bridgewater will hold a fun family day on Monday, with fireworks at 9:30pm. For a more exhaustive list, NBC has one here.
Looking for a bit more than just fireworks? Picnic Grover at Six Flags in Agawam is hosting the Coca-Cola July 4th Fest, which has been going on since Wednesday and ends Monday, July 4th. This week-long fireworks-filled celebration also includes games, live music and a chance to win season passes to the amusement park.
Happy 4th of July!
