The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have announced that all Covid-19 testing requirements for international travelers coming to the United States have ended.
Europe has largely lifted all travel requirements for some months, but the USA still required all incoming passengers to provide a negative Covid-19 test taken no earlier than one day before the flight.
The CDC has said it will continue to monitor the pandemic and reassess the need for testing if the situation changes, but the change comes after months of airline and tourism entities lobbying, as they claimed it discouraged people from booking international trips.
